Join our Society

Our Society exists to collect, preserve and research Wendish and German family history, culture and heritage. All who share this heritage by birth, marriage or simply by common interest are welcome to join.

Your membership will entitle you to free Newsletters and support our work and help maintain and further develop our Library and Resource Centre, currently holding almost a thousand books (mostly family histories) and extensive computer records (eg: shipping lists of migrants, births, deaths and marriages). Members are automatically placed on our Newsletter mailing list. You will also have the opportunity to meet others who share similar interests.

We are powered by volunteers and donations. Helpers are needed to assist with a variety of tasks, especially cataloguing and computerising our holdings of magazines, books, photos, newspaper clippings, certificates and documents.

To join, download subscription form or write to: The Secretary, Wendish Heritage Society, P.O. Box 307 Heidelberg, Victoria 3084, Australia, giving your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and enclosing a cheque for $20.00.
