Archival and Family History Displays at Luther College: 2-5 October 2009October 02, 2009 During the LCA Convention from Friday 2 to Monday 5 October 2009 held at Luther College, Croydon, Victoria, the Wendish Heritage Society displayed Wendish books and posters, items of traditional Wendish national dress, and a powerpoint display for Convention delegates who were also interested in their family's history and culture. Our Society shared a room with other groups involved in Germanic and Wendish heritage, including the Lutheran Archives, the Friends of Lutheran Archives, the Friends of Westgarthtown and AKI, the historical society of Trinity German Lutheran Church. This event replaced our usual annual dinner, which this year has been organized by the GSV's International Settlers' Group.
