DESCRIPTION:It is 176 years since Michael Zwar arrived in Australia at the age of 20 and 171 years since he purchased 88 acres of land at what was to become known as Zwar’s Hill\, near Broadford in Victoria.  Dr Richard (Rick) Zwar and Dr Nicholas (Nick) Zwar invite descendants to attend an event to celebrate the family history and the connection to Broadford.  Descendants of Michael\, Johann and Peter Zwar are all welcome. \nDate:  Saturday 3 October 2026 \nVenue:  Gavan Hall\, next to St Matthew’s Church\, 72 High St.\, Broadford\, Vic. \nDetails:  Please arrive around 11.00 am.  Formalities will take place from 11.30 am – 12.30 pm. followed by a sandwich lunch \nRSVP:  18 September 2026 \nContact Nick Zwar by email nicholasz1959@gmail.com or by text to mobile 0417 063 061.
